Item #19939 SOLD!! 1880's Whole Cloth Quilt This whole cloth quilt could be used as a quilt, or remove the yarn ties and use the front and back for antique fabric. Dating to the 1880's, it has a large print floral front with peony flowers in pinks & golds with turquoise colored leaves and a wine colored ground (2 panels, 33" wide). The back is a stripe in blue, gold & rusty red. It measures 82" x 66", has a medium weight cotton batting, and a machine sewn knife (or invisible) binding. In "as found" condition, we find no rips, tears, stains or odors. |

$69 1920's Whole Cloth Quilt These are always fun quilts to find! Known as Cheater Cloth, the cotton fabric actually had quilt-type designs, so you could just sew up a couple of panels and have what looked like a quilt! This 1920's quilt, with an 1890's back, was made with two 35" wide panels, measures 74" x 72", has a thin cotton batting, a wild floral & stripe machine applied binding, and 2 black & white prints for the back. This quilt was tied with white and pink cotton yarns. In "as found" condition, we find no stains or odors, but a couple splits in the early 1890's backing fabric. This quilt would be easy to "un-do" so that the fabric could be used in other quilt projects! |

$99 Drunkards Path Doll Quilt The front of this 20-1/2" x 19-1/2" doll quilt is 3 Drunkards Path quilt blocks and 1 Robbing Peter to Pay Paul block from the 1880's (probably left over blocks from larger quilts by the maker) which are HAND PIECED using Indigo Blue prints, alizarin red prints or solid Turkey Red, and a burgundy and white print. The blocks are hand sewn together. The back is made using 4 rectangles of 1920's prints, surrounded by a dark olive green. The front is machine stitched to the back in fourths, close to the block seams, and is also tied with yellow & red yarn. We find no rips, tears, stains or odors. VERY CUTE & FOLKY!! |

$25 Grey Striped Serape This HAND WOVEN serape or rug is made of cotton and was woven in a grey and white stripe pattern. The greys go from black to light, and the white is a creamy white. The serape/rug measures 70" x 51", not counting the 2" fringe on both ends. PROFESSIONALLY HAND LAUNDERED, it's in great shape with no rips, tears, stains or odors. Would make a great decorator rug or wall hanging. |
